A world full of screens.
We wanted to let children play again.
We live in a time where technology is an indispensable part of our daily lives. Phones, tablets, computers, and game consoles are everywhere. They help us, entertain us, and connect us to the world.
But while we gained more and more possibilities, we saw something happening with the generation that came after us.
Children who are exercising less and less and looking at a screen more and more.
Where playing outside, running, climbing, throwing, and exploring used to be a given, today's world increasingly seems to revolve around scrolling, swiping, and tapping. One video leads to another. A game lasts five more minutes. And before you know it, an hour has passed.
Not because children no longer want to play.
But because screens have become incredibly good at keeping their attention.
Slowly, playing seemed to give way to scrolling. Moving to sitting. Discovering to watching.
And that got us thinking.
How do we get children excited to really play again?
Not by banning technology. Not by simply telling children to put away their tablets. But by creating something at least as appealing: a place where they can move, discover, laugh, and play together.
We felt it was time to do something about it.
Before we get used to this being the new norm.
That is why we designed Kids Arena.
No screen. No app. No plug. No electronics.
Just children, movement, and their own imagination.
We wanted to create a place that invites children to get up as soon as they see it. A place where they can throw, kick, jump, aim, move, and expend their energy. A place that doesn't require a controller or touchscreen, but their own bodies.
We brought different sports and game forms together in one compact arena. This created a play area that children can use in different ways again and again. Today it's a football pitch, tomorrow a basketball game, and after that perhaps a completely self-invented game.
Because children don't need a screen to entertain themselves. They need space to be children.
At the same time, we knew that such a play area not only had to be fun, but also practical for parents.
That's why we created the Kids Arena compact enough for indoor use, without children feeling restricted. The arena has soft, padded edges for extra comfort, a sturdy surface with grip, and a size that is large enough to really move around, but small enough to fit in a living room, playroom or other space.
No loose goals lying around the house. No hard corners. No holes in the wall. No room that needs to be completely converted.
And most importantly: no electronics.
Because sometimes the solution is surprisingly simple.
A ball. A goal. A hoop. A bit of space. And the freedom to play.
With Kids Arena, we want to do more than just make toys. We want to contribute to a generation of children who continue to discover that movement is fun. Who play together instead of just staring at a screen next to each other. Who learn to win, lose, cooperate, and try again.
We cannot stop the world of technology, nor do we want to.
But we can give children something that no screen can ever replace: the freedom to move, the space to discover, and the memories that arise when playing together.
That's why we designed Kids Arena.
Because we believe children should not lose the joy of playing and should be given the space to express their imagination.
